What is “zirconia porcelain teeth”?
Most of the zirconia discs purchased by the processing factory are in a soft semi-sintered state (semi-finished products), and require the factory to perform cutting and subsequent sintering. Therefore, zirconia porcelain teeth are the digital products produced by the factory in the later stage. The same zirconia disc, from different manufacturers, different equipment, and different processes will also determine the different quality and later stability of the “zirconia porcelain teeth” products.
The influence of processing techniques and equipment on zirconia porcelain teeth:
1. Scanning equipment, design and manufacturing software – scanning accuracy, design data accuracy, needle path direction during machining, force balance during cutting;
2. Cutting equipment/needle – cutting path, crown thickness, edge accuracy, surface smoothness;
3. Sintering equipment – crystal solidification, shrinkage ratio control, density, light transmittance.
