Design features:
It is fixed by four anchoring pins penetrating two layers of cortical bone in the maxilla. The expansion force is directly transmitted to the maxilla. The expansion force is nearly three times that of conventional expansion appliances.
There is no age limit. It is applicable to both patients with and without a closed palatal suture, and has an extremely high success rate. It can basically avoid “palatal suture splitting surgery”.
