A thermoplastic polymer material synthesized from 5% titanium oxide and 95% polyetheretherketone, has higher hardness, greater elasticity and better surface polishability compared to pure PEEK material. X-rays can penetrate through it, making it suitable for manufacturing various prostheses such as Maryland bridges.
